Solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, and small business owners are no strangers to burnout. We are so driven to achieve our goals that we can go too far, take n too much at once, and then totally run out of energy. Then the world starts to crumble around us.

So, can we see it coming and divert it before it knocks us down?

For me, I’ve learnt my “tells” so now I can see the dreaded burnout coming, and do something about it before I sink too far under.

Turning down my brain at night – Solopreneurship Made Simple

When we are working from home, what should be the end of the working day can easily spill over into the evening.

When it’s your own business too, that huge sense of responsibility can make it so tricky to say “enough” at the end of each day.

And then there is the fact that our most creative ideas come when THEY want to, which might be late at night!

Perfectionism is a trap – don’t let it stop you!

I used to get so hung up on doing things well.  When I first started recording training videos, a couple of years back, it took me SO many takes to get each section right!

It was frustrating and really not the best use of my time.

As we all know, time is our most finite resource.  So in some respect, we could all benefit from getting over the need to be ‘perfect’ and just get things done.
